Samsung is expanding LE Audio’s capabilities to include more immersive audio recording on smartphones, clearer audio on PCs, and now the ability to share TV audio with more people.

Samsung Electronics has announced new software updates for the Galaxy Buds2 Pro headphones and Samsung smart TVs.[1], improving sound quality for even more connected devices. The new updates extend LE Audio capabilities to Samsung TVs with Auracast audio streaming technology, delivering rich, sophisticated audio to nearby Bluetooth devices.

LE Audio, the industry’s leading Bluetooth audio standard, expands the range of audio capabilities, delivering more complex and rich sound that goes beyond the best music audio, allowing users to share it with others as they experience it themselves. As a pioneer in innovative technology, Samsung features new LE Audio features that further enhance audio quality, including 360° audio recording, allowing Galaxy smartphone users to record video and audio exactly as they hear it, without professional equipment. Additionally, some Galaxy Book3 devices[2] Provide crystal clear sound with reduced latency – ideal for immersive gaming and multimedia viewing.

And now Auracast audio streaming technology for Galaxy Buds2 Pro and Samsung QLED Neo 8K 2023 and MICRO DEL 2023 TVs will be available via software updates starting in September.[3]Samsung is elevating and expanding connectivity beyond mobile devices to home appliances.
