Be careful with your email addresses, Google is about to purge: check if your account is at risk of being deleted

Keep track of your Google accounts. It’s time to clean and sort if you use several of them and risk seeing them disappear and some of their contents along with them. The American giant will hold big cleaning. Therefore, any Google account that is inactive for two years will be deleted from December 1, 2023.

To save your accounts, even if you rarely use them, simply sign in. Some actions allow us to witness activity according to Google : Read or send email using Google Drivewatching videos on YouTube, downloading an app from the Google Play store, using Google search, and using the “Sign in with Google” feature to connect to a third-party app or service.

Deleting an account results in loss of E-mail addressbut also everyone saved data in the Google services of the account in question, in particular in the Google Drive storage service.

Before deleting an account, Google will send a notification to the account in question, as well as to the recovery email address associated with that account.
