Major HIV screening campaign in the Gironde – Angers Info

Monday 18 September to Saturday 23 September is Sexually Transmitted Disease Awareness Week. Thus, screening sessions for HIV and STIs are carried out in Langon, Bazas and La Réole in the Gironde.

Monday 18 September to Saturday 23 September is HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections) Screening Awareness and Information Week. Indeed, the week, organized by the biomedical laboratories Synlab Nouvelle-Aquitaine, will provide an opportunity for everyone to get tested for HIV free of charge, without a prescription or prior appointment.

According to our colleagues from the Republican Party, screenings will take place in Langon, La Réole and Bazas in the Gironde. The goal of this campaign is to limit the chain of transmission of STIs and HIV, protect the health of patients and others, and provide treatment and save lives.
