Mali: The postponement of the presidential election has angered several political groups in the country

Several Malian political groups were outraged by the junta’s decision to postpone the presidential election indefinitely to allow civilians to return to power. On Monday, the authorities announced a new postponement, “slightly” according to them, of the presidential elections originally scheduled for February 2024. They did not set new dates.
