Leipzig started the game perfectly against Bayern Munich on Saturday 30 September. The East German club led 2-0 after 26 minutes of play thanks to Loïs Openda (20′) and Castello Lukeba (26′) despite the absence of Willi Orban, Timo Werner and Dani Olmo.

And on a counterattack led by Jamal Musiala, German international Leroy Sané launched perfectly from deep to equalize in the 70th minute.
The two teams then neutralized each other. For the third week in a row, they will have a match every three to four days. In the Champions League, Bayern travel to Copenhagen on Tuesday (21:00), while Leipzig host Manchester City on Wednesday (21:00).
