Bpifrance is accompanying a delegation of around fifty participants from the cultural, creative and technology industries sectors to Austin, Texas, to attend the South By Southwest (SXSW) festival to showcase French creativity and expertise. – BP France

AUSTIN, March 9, 2024 – As part of the South by Southwest Festival taking place from March 8 to 16, 2024 in Austin, Bpifrance, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Consulate General of France in Houston, the French-American Chamber from Texas, and Business France and with the support of its partners, accompanies (French Founders, Hub Institute, we are_, and Rising Sud), a delegation of about fifty participants from French Touch and French Tech. Winning companies will be able to benefit from inspiring panels held by top executives and directors (NASA, SXSW, Wholefoods, Indeed, Microsoft), ecosystem presentations and meeting and networking moments.

For the second year in a row, Bpifrance and Nicolas Dufourc, its Managing Director, accompany a French delegation of around fifty participants from French Touch and French Tech, on the occasion of the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival, a meeting place for global creativity, technology businesses and influencers in Austin, Texas.

Organized by Bpifrance with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Consulate General of France in Houston, the French-American Chamber of Texas, and Business France and with the support of its partners (French Founders, Hub Institute, we are_, and Rising South). This inspiring journey will allow French creativity and expertise to shine on the sidelines of the festival and decipher trends.

For more than 30 years South by Southwest is a must-attend event for innovative companies around the world. Providing a unique platform to exchange ideas, network and discover the latest trends in the creative industries. Every year, the festival welcomes approx
280,000 participants from 112 different countries. The event brings together nearly 4,800 speakers who share their experience and expertise in front of more than 87,000 spectators.

During the festival, companies participating in the delegation will benefit from dedicated support, a program of meetings and advice in order to better immerse themselves in an environment conducive to innovation and creativity.
