A sporting and friendly celebration

The Cheverny Marathon, organized by the Larivière Organization and the Courir à Saint Gervais club, presents itself as one of the the most festive sporting events of the year. Scheduled to take place on April 6 and 7, this event promises to be a moment of determinationof kindnessand D’athletic feats. The town of Cheverny, with its enchanting landscapes, offers an idyllic setting for this event.

A series of tests

The organizers offer a busy programme, with no less than 10 sporting events aimed at satisfying all levels. Participants will be able to choose between marathon, half marathon, 10 km Crédit Agricole Val de France and 5 km, but also more difficult challenges such as a 63 km trail, a 35 km path and even a hike. New features this year include Marathon relayTHE 14 km trail and Children’s raceand thus expands the offer to a more varied audience.

More than a race

The Cheverny Marathon is a true celebration of sport that goes beyond simple athletic competition. With more than 4,500 participants expected, the event is an opportunity to discover regional specialties and the magnificent landscape of the Loir-et-Cher, including its famous vineyards. The organizers have also planned a wide range offestive activities for spectators and participants, which ensures that the weekend will be memorable for everyone.

A community challenge

This marathon also marks the second event in the Togetherness challenge which brings together 21 races under the label “Festiviales”, dedicated to those who try to combine the joy of running with the joy of celebrating. The highlight of these festivities is undoubtedly Pasta party on Saturday night, a moment of sharing and joy in anticipation of the next day’s efforts.
