It’s an idea that could catch on quickly. The Santafoo project, born in Marseille, is already being exported to Aix-en-Provence. The application, available on smartphones, already offers its customers more than 1,000 products, selected according to a very strict charter.
Among them there is a little bit of everything, just like in a classic store, but at affordable prices and, most importantly, the products are local. All are created by regional producers and artisans committed to environmentally responsible practices. Target ? Reduce the carbon footprint of the food on your plate.
The adventure began in Marseille. Santafoo deliveries are available every day from 9:00 to 21:00 by e-bike and scooter only. The “Saints of Taste,” as they call themselves, already have over 2,000 active customers across the city who can deliver within the hour or at scheduled times.
After Marseille, Santafu recently moved to Aix-en-Provence. And the company does not want to stop there. Indeed, the young start-up aims to become “an important platform for responsible online shopping in France”, gaining a foothold in more than 200 French cities by 2030.
