The Futsal CAN 2024 group stage, currently taking place in Morocco, concluded this Tuesday with the result of Group B.
In a favorable position at kick-off, Libya maintained their position by making short work of Namibia, who were new to the competition and were beaten for the third time, with a final score of 11-5. In the semi-finals, Libya will challenge Morocco, host country, double title holder and top of Group A on Friday.

Mauritania comes out with honours
Unsurprisingly, it was Egypt, unlucky finalist in the last three editions, who finished first in Pool B. The Pharaohs struggled to overcome Mauritania (7-6) to complete the job. Conversely, Mourabitounes, beaten for the second time in a row by a narrow goal difference after winning their first game against Namibia, can go home with their heads held high.
The other half will therefore pit Egypt against Angola and the 4 semi-finalists are therefore the same as in the previous edition!
