Where and when does the Champions League semi-final take place?

It is a certainty, PSG’s Champions League semi-final will have the feel of a reunion: the Parisians will face Borussia Dortmund, their opponents in the group stage.

This is the fourth C1 semi-final in the history of Paris (after 1995, 2020 and 2021) and we already know the poster since the draw was made already before the quarter-finals: PSG will face Borussia Dortmund, who beat Atlético de Madrid after a crazy game.

When are the semi-finals?

The semi-finals take place on 30 April or 1 May for the first leg, and a week later on 7 or 8 May for the second leg. The order of the games will be determined by the results of the last quarter-finals (Real Madrid-Manchester City and Arsenal-Bayern Munich). The date of May 8 may present a slight planning problem for the authorities as it is also the day of the Olympic flame’s arrival in Marseille.

Where will the semi-finals take place?

Here, too, the draw has already been made, Borussia Dortmund will get the first leg, and the return leg, on May 7 or 8, will take place at the Parc des Princes. In this stadium they beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0, in a game that left a bitter taste for the Germans, who had complained a lot about the referees. On the return leg, the Parisians had mainly sought to secure a draw (1-1), synonymous with qualification for the round of 16 in the Champions League.
