The Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion organizes a general evacuation exercise for its headquarters | Consonews

In a proactive approach to managing emergency situations, the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion organized a general evacuation exercise at its headquarters, located in the center of Rabat, on Wednesday, April 17, from 10:30 am. This exercise, organized in close collaboration with the Civil Protection of Rabat, in response to a regulatory requirement, was essentially intended to assess the management by the various employees of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion of the behavior and organization that must be adopted in the event of an emergency. A major disaster that requires the complete evacuation of the property. This initiative also made it possible to assess the effectiveness of the internal emergency evacuation management plan of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion in the face of different disaster scenarios. It should be noted that this evacuation exercise for the headquarters of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion, which occupies a high-rise building (IGH) of 12 floors, required the deployment of internal resources (emergency team, technical resources, communication and display equipment, etc.) as well as external civil protection emergency services that have mobilized their crews and intervention resources to respond as quickly as possible to the warning message from the central security station (PCS) of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion. Thanks to the mobilization of all internal and external resources involved in this scenario, all residents of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion headquarters were evacuated and led safely to the designated assembly points. Fallback test of critical users of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion In addition to this exercise, the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion also tested its fallback plan by redirecting identified critical users to the “user fallback site”. This process made it possible to guarantee the continuity of operational processing in a delocalized manner, demonstrating CDG’s commitment to guarantee the continuity of its essential services even in the event of a major incident. The Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion intends to continue this dynamic of risk management and anticipation by conducting regular evacuation and withdrawal exercises, with or without prior internal notification. This proactive approach will enable the establishment to maintain a high level of preparedness and responsiveness to any emergency, while ensuring the safety of its employees, customers and visitors and ensuring the continuity of its critical operations.
