Action Cancer 47 takes stock of its actions for 2023

On the evening of Wednesday 17 April, the annual meeting of Action Cancer 47, an association dedicated to the prevention, screening and support of cancer patients, took place in Pont du Casse.

In the presence of Christian Delbrel, the mayor of the city, surrounded by famous personalities, Michel Lauzan, vice-president of the cancer research group and member of the National Assembly, the mayors and elected officials of Pont du Casse, the presidents of the partner associations and the Great Audience, President Jan Baudou presented a moral report and report on the activities of the association for 2023. He thanked numerous private and association partners, as well as 70 of the 47 congregations, for their investments, and recalled nearly 80 Roses events in October, including marches that attracted up to 4,000 participants. Among them, Rando Cassipontine, organizer of Rando de Malou under the direction of the municipal sports department, was able to offer a donation of 4,000 euros. In addition to numerous donations used locally for supportive care, reflexology, social and aesthetic care in institutions in Lot-et-Garonne, this wonderful 2023 has also made it possible to subsidize oncology services in Bordeaux and Toulouse, where many people from Agen are treated.
