Deplorable working conditions, unfulfilled salary promises… the Stade Brestois women’s team is threatening a strike

Stade Brestois’ women’s team, which plays in D3, officially revealed they are “fed up” in an open letter forwarded on Wednesday by the website Football players. In this, the players of the Finistère club condemn “deplorable travel conditions”lack of consideration from managers, unfulfilled financial promises and the unhygienic homes in which several actors live.

– Some contracts were signed five months after the girls came to the club. They had to support themselves, far from their families, without the slightest income. When they signed the contract, five months later, the amount was lower than what was said when they arrived. The whole staff pitched in to help them financially”writes the Brest women’s team, which threatens to strike.
