Bagnères-de-Bigorre. A beautiful family passion

Members of the same family from the Bagnères-de-Bigorre pétanque club won their ticket to the league, wearing the colors of their club and their town.

It was on 7 April that the department championship in petanque for women in triples took place in Ossun. No fewer than 44 teams were entered, including a rather unusual trio of Bagnéraises. In fact, the team representing the Bagnères-de-Bigorre pétanque club was composed of a family representing three generations, namely Lydie Perello, the “grandmother”, Cindy Sanchez, the “daughter” and Céline Sanchez, the “girl”.

They lost in the final but will represent their club on May 19 in Marvejols, in Lozère, in the league championship.
