Sounds will switch to RPPS in early June: calendar and consequences

In 2024, all Adeli specialists will be gradually integrated into the RPPS (General Directory of Healthcare Professionals) repository. According to the ANS (Digital Health Agency), hearing aid specialists are part of the third and final wave and will enter it on June 5th.

The RPPS number is a national, unique and secure identifier that a professional retains throughout their career. Unlike the Adélie number, it remains unchanged regardless of geographic mobility within a country. From June 5th, audio will benefit from this number. It will be automatically assigned to those who have an Adele number, which will then become obsolete. New graduates will be assigned an RPPS number (11 digits) upon registration with their ARS through the new eRPPS registration portal. The ARS remains the starting point for collecting, verifying, recording professional data and updating it based on information submitted by professionals through the eRPPS portal.

Once integrated into the RPPS catalog, the specialist will be able to perform their procedures online if the situation changes through the eRPPS portal. Recording your contact details (mobile phone number and email address) allows you to have an e-CPS (a mobile application verified by Pro Santé Connect that provides access to digital health services). All existing e-CPS will continue to operate until expiration and the PSC will accept Adeli number authentication for a minimum of 3 years. For professionals who already have a CPS Adeli card (valid for 3 years), it will also be valid until it expires. Renewal of the CPS Adeli card to the CPS RPPS card will be carried out automatically upon expiration or early renewal in case of data changes before the expiration date. The rules for obtaining a CPS card remain unchanged.

After the switch, all MSSanté named mailboxes will be based on the RPPS number. Already created messaging services will continue to work, and specialists can continue to communicate. Ultimately, all operators will have to move from Adeli identification to RPPS identification. For operators offering authentication using CPS or e-CPS, authentication will require customization.

The Digital Health Agency will present new procedures (changing information on the eRPPS platform, ordering and renewing CPE and CPS cards, activating e-CPS) and answer questions from interested professionals during a webinar on May 29 between 9 am and 10 am.
