Big change in French baking: be an actor, not a spectator

Since April 18, the National Confederation of French Bakery and Pastry Making (CNBPF) launched an extensive citizen consultation to redefine and improve the concept of the French bakery. The bakery stands out not only for its popularity (12 million daily consumers and 6 billion baguettes sold per year), but also for its crucial role in the local economy, with more than 200,000 employees and 30,000 students. Objectives and ambitions of the consultation

Consultation and participation mechanism

Participants can submit their proposals via a QR code in bakeries or directly online. The collected proposals will then be studied and the most popular ones will be presented at the end of June to be implemented from September 2024.
