Located directly opposite the hospital centre, the “Les petits bolides” kindergarten, renovated and expanded, now offers twelve extra places. It now has 40 places.

Meeting the needs of hospital workers

Our main client is the City of Le Mans, which via the Children’s Center distributes more than half of the available places to applicants. explains Aline Ho, operations manager in the children’s service group MNH, owner of the site. The rest of the cradles are allocated to companies that sign an agreement with us. Here, we do not have direct places with the hospital today. However, through the collaboration with the town hall, we welcome a large number of families who work at the hospital centre. We have developed skills that are completely dedicated to the specific and highly complex needs of hospital workers, such as flexibility related to schedule changes or atypical schedules.

Adapt to the child

The project, mainly funded by CAF, was completed quickly, in a few months. There is a significant need for faster occupancy than expected.

This extension allowed the creation of a room for motor skills. The choice of furniture and colors was carefully considered and carried out. We use much softer shades than before, more cocooning, more soothing atmospheres, the furniture is no longer the same at all. In our practice and our purchases, our thoughts, like our teaching, have evolved enormously. Today, we observe how the child interacts and we adapt our operations, which was to a lesser extent the case before.
