For several days now, WhatsApp and its users have been victims of a very annoying error. It is impossible to send videos to each other for no apparent reason. Currently, this phenomenon has only affected Android users, although Meta has not yet reported it. Most people just have to wait for an update that fixes the problem.

But if you have a habit of sending a lot of videos, like some pros, you’re probably looking for a temporary solution. That’s good: we have two to offer you. Each requires some fiddling, but they will allow you to send photos again without waiting for an official fix.

How to Fix WhatsApp Error That Doesn’t Allow You to Send Videos

The first solution is to go back to the old version of WhatsApp. In fact, the bug only affects the latest update. So you just have to kind of “remove” it to get everything back to normal. Unfortunately, the Play Store does not yet allow such manipulations, so you will need to download the appropriate APK. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Delete WhatsApp from your Android smartphone
  2. Click on the button below to downloadWhatsApp APK
  3. Open the downloaded APK
  4. Press Install
  5. Open WhatsApp, then sign in to your account.

You are now using an old version of WhatsApp that was installed before the latest update. So you will find the same features, but without the bug that prevents you from sending videos. All you have to do is install the next update to get everything back to normal.

The second solution is a little more technical, but will save you from uninstalling WhatsApp. Some users have noticed that videos in .mov format can be sent without any problems. This is quite logical, since this is the format in which videos shot on the iPhone are saved. However, the latter is not affected by the error. Additionally, you can convert the videos you want to send to .mov format so that the latter no longer blocks them. Here’s how:

  1. Click on the button below to download the application Video converter
  2. Open the application and click Begin
  3. Then click Video converter
  4. Select the video of your choice and click Next
  5. IN Formatselect MOV
  6. Adjust other settings as desired
  7. Press Made
  8. Rename the file if you like, then click Keep

The generated video will have the format MOU. You will be able to send it via WhatsApp without any problem.

While these two solutions work great, it is clear that users are losing time and convenience. So, let’s hope WhatsApp fixes this bug soon in a future update. Stay tuned, this should be coming soon.
