Brian Alainu’uese (Toulon) receives a three-week suspension

Directly excluded during the match between Toulon and Toulouse (20-19), during the 21st day of the Top 14, the second row of the RCT Brian Alainu’uese now knows his sanction. The NRL disciplinary committee decided to suspend him for three weeks for his dangerous tackle on Mathis Castro-Ferreira.

He was found guilty of “dangerous gambling” and given six weeks for the medium level of the seriousness scale, but the sanction was reduced by three weeks after taking into account mitigating circumstances, such as admitting the facts and expressing remorse.

Furthermore, the commission imposed a suspended fine of 3,000 euros on Biarritz (Pro D2) for disturbances during the match against Grenoble (April 19-46, 19). And Aurillac player Christa Powell was suspended for a week after accumulating three yellow cards.
