36 sailors on board Figaro Bénéteau type boats will compete from Tuesday to Saturday ahead Sables d’Olonne for this year’s second leg of the French Elite Ocean Racing Championship, the Solo Master Cock. Two coastal courses in the Bay of Sables d’Olonne are on the program, the first this Tuesday from 11.00 (departure from the pontoon at 09.30), the second this Wednesday. And a larger race further offshore of 320 nautical miles takes place between Thursday and Saturday which will take the skippers around the islands of Ré and Belle-Île-en-Mer.
We will follow the young Tom Goron, 17 years old, with a license in Nantes at SNO.
