aboard their “fully loaded” 4L, they set off on a humanitarian journey to Morocco

On board their six 4Ls, volunteers from the K’Trailer association left this Wednesday, May 1, from Saint-Martin-d’Hères near Grenoble (Isère) for a humanitarian mission to Morocco. A journey where they will distribute more than a ton of school supplies and basic necessities to schools and orphanages.

After enjoying their last moments in the company of their loved ones, the volunteers of the K’Trailer association departed with a smile. “It’s my first time” confides Florian Guivarc’h, one of the twelve pilots taking part in the adventure.

My 4L is fully loaded” he continues, observing the donations that will be distributed in different schools and orphanages in Morocco, ready to experience an extraordinary humanitarian and mechanical journey. On the program: more than 3200 km between Saint-Martin d’Hères in Isère and the south – is Moroccan the opportunity for volunteers to “.explore paths and discover landscapesbehind the wheel of legendary cars.

Established in 2006, the goal of the K’Trailer association is “to bring everything necessary to people in need” explains the president of the structure Vincent Clapasson, attracted by “adventure and people” and inspired by the 4L Trophy. For this sixth humanitarian mission, more than tons of donations were collected.

School supplies, clothes, nappies, stuffed animals but also toys and even complete hygiene kits… A total of 200 kg of materials were loaded into each of the six cars that took part in the adventure.

For years, the association’s pilots have traveled Morocco (and Albania) aboard the 4Ls. “These adventures changed my life. They are moments that remain engraved, each time a new life lessonsays Vincent Clapasson.

Once you start, you can’t stop” adds Lucie Basso. A few minutes before take-off, the one we nickname Barbie with her co-pilot Cédric alias Ken gets aboard their vehicle on “big pink wings“.

this “great humanitarian adventure between friends” will last until May 13. The volunteers will begin their adventure at an orphanage in Meknes where they will distribute supplies in collaboration with the Espoir association for orphans in Morocco.

They will then make their way to Merzouga in the south-eastern part of the country, on the edge of the desert, to distribute school supplies in the most remote villages.
