Lorak. Sports Leisure and Culture combined

The general meeting of the Lorak Sports, Recreation and Culture Association took place on Saturday, April 27, at the town hall in the presence of the mayor, Mrs. Stenkeste. 18 people were present, three apologized; Thus, a quorum has been reached and the meeting can be held legally. The President gave a moral account of the association’s activities over the past year, emphasizing three specific points: a significant increase in the number of members (66), the huge success of the Irish evening, which may create problems for the organization in the future, and the incomprehensible public dissatisfaction with the rock concert. The treasurer then presented the association’s financial results, which are positive despite events with negative results, such as a Christmas party or a rock concert. Both reports were rejected unanimously. The last item on the agenda was the election of a new board of directors and a new office. The following members of the association are elected: President, Mr. Duval; Vice Presidents Ms. Jeannou and Mr. Buck; Treasurer Mr. Stenkeste; Deputy Treasurer Ms. Farigul; Secretary, Mrs. Sirera. The meeting ended with a friendly tea party.
