During Apple’s iPad event, Apple introduced major update to Final Cut Proreleased last year on iPad, with features live broadcast with multiple cameras and transfer video between multiple devices. A small revolution for videographers? Let’s get back to this ad.

Multi-camera live streaming in Final Cut Pro

If Apple updated Final Cut Pro version 2, including improved touchscreen and Apple Pencil experience, the main new feature is the addition of functionality Multicamera.

Our first opinion

With this update to Final Cut Pro for iPad, released just a year ago, Apple takes a giant step for content creators who use multiple iPhones and iPads for filming. Of course, many professionals would love to be able to do the same with professional cameras from Sony, Blackmagic or Panasonic, but Apple’s strategy is clear: show that its ecosystem is self-sufficientwhere the iPhone is the centerpiece of the video.

This makes it possible to shoot video on one or more iPhones, perform real-time multi-camera editing on an iPad, and export your project. and all this without touching the computer and in a very simple way. It remains to be seen how this feature will be received.
