Elegant and nice smart watch

Strict and reliable, Amazfit GTR 4 is not distinguished by sophistication. This sports watch emphasizes functionality over elegance, and it shows. The lightweight aluminum alloy dial, rounded with very thin edges, is equally pleasing if you like that style. As for the bracelet, inspired by what Apple makes, it is elegant, although it does not give the same impression of reliability.

Featuring a 1.43-inch OLED screen that’s slightly larger than the previous model, the watch displays a wealth of highly readable information. Moreover, the screen works even in difficult and very bright conditions. The colors are bright and notifications are easy to read.

Simple but effective

When it comes to health monitoring, the Amazfit GTR 4 hits the nail on the head. There is no body temperature or electrocardiogram, but monitoring of sleep, stress and even oxygen in the blood. However, it does include multi-band GPS. For a smartwatch at this price, that’s impressive. As a result, its navigation is accurate even in difficult conditions (forest or city). However, it loses a few points on communication capabilities, with limited options for responding to notifications. The telephony function of the Amazfit GTR 4 is also not very good. But this is more than offset by autonomy, which exceeds 7 days with activated multi-band GPS and reaches 10 days with “normal” use.
