As part of the urban art exhibition, proposed by the artists of the Layup group LayUp, which takes place at 11-13 Bd Delacourtie, in the Saint-Michel district, in Toulouse, the Mother In Town association organizes the Children’s Festival.
From May 9 to 12, the public is invited to immerse themselves in the world of children, as approximately 30 exhibitors from the world of children will be gathered in this temporary exhibition held inside the halls (the former Orange Building), which has been provided by the developer’s real estate company for the duration. the event. For 4 days, families will be able to enjoy an amazing experience that combines urban art and fun activities for children. “This new edition of the Kids by Mother in Town festival in Toulouse is a unique event, combining the creativity of urban art and the world of children,” emphasizes Jessica Mazel, founder of the Mother in Town Festival. On the programme: talks, sports initiatives (street hockey, goose game, hip-hop dance, etc.), creative workshops (make-up, bright tattoos, signed children’s songs, etc.), food hall, pop shop, etc.
On Saturday and Sunday, Lay Up Gallery’s kid-friendly partner, Mother in Town, is offering a street art workshop for children, through June 23, with activities on cake design, upcycling, screen printing, macrame, and Japanese bookbinding. A special vegetable dye for Father’s Day…
Entry to the Children’s Festival is completely free and open to everyone. From 10 am to 7 pm. This exceptional Saturday will close at 5pm to make way for the Hip Hop Battle.
