VIDEO. The French handball team in training in Balagne

The French men’s handball team has taken up residence in Île-Rousse since Monday 6 May. She divides her time between training and relaxing in the micro-region. On Wednesday, it opened its doors to young island handball players. A moment of happiness for the 500 children present.

The French handball team left as it arrived, to applause, leaving stars in the eyes of the little island handball players and hundreds of memories.

It is thanks to Adrien Magne, coach of Hanball Corte and Hand Jeunesse Île-Rousse, that the reigning European and Olympic champions put down their bags for a few days in Balagne. A preparatory course before the match this Saturday 11 May in Lyon against the USA.

Some intensive days out of sight, except for this Wednesday, for a meeting with more than 500 young supporters.

The appointment has been made for the Olympic Games in Paris.
