Artificial intelligence is present everywhere, including in the visualization of living beings. Google Deepmind and Isomorphic Labs have just released a research tool for modeling the structures and interactions of proteins, DNA, RNA and other molecules. The software, called AlphaFold 3, promises to make life easier for scientists who can use it to develop new drugs and better understand and protect nature. The University of Portsmouth has used it to develop enzymes that can digest microplastics.
