Integrating artificial intelligence into our devices is the goal of all manufacturers in this sector. Everyone develops their own model, like Google with Gemini. Following the announcement of a Fitbit-enabled watch, the chatbot joins the Google Messages beta.

Almost a month after the integration was announced, Gemini appears in Google Messages. Reportedly 9to5googleAI has been added to the latest beta version of the app. To access it, simply start a new conversation and have the messaging system prompt you to interact with the chatbot just before your contact list.
The responses generated are similar to those in the app or web version of the chatbot. Gemini explains that he can “write messages, discuss ideas, plan events, or just have fun conversations”.
Not yet available in France
Unfortunately, as the Mountain View company points out in its blog post, Gemini is not yet available for Google Messages in France. We will have to wait until the beta version is rolled out to our region and/or the final version for all users.
