Individuals apparently wanted to disturb the sleep of PSG players by lighting fireworks and fireworks near their hotel, on the eve of the Champions League quarter-final second leg against FC Barcelona.
The Catalan supporters took revenge. Fireworks and small fireworks were lit on the night of 15-16 April around the Barcelona hotel where Paris Saint-Germain are staying before the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Barça (9pm at RMC Sport 1). The incident – without seriousness – was filmed by a journalist from the popular Spanish TV programme El Chiringuito.
During the day on Monday, many Barça supporters were present in front of this hotel to welcome the PSG players with insults. These were particularly aimed at Ousmane Dembélé, who left the Blaugrana club last summer to join Paris.
Not a first
Last week fireworks and fireworks were also used near the elegant Parisian hotel where the FC Barcelona players and staff were staying before the first leg.
This type of action, which is not the first, is usually the work of supporters who want to disturb the sleep of the opposing team.
In March 2021, a PSG fan was taken into custody after ringing the fire alarm at the hotel reserved by FC Barcelona, which was to play a Champions League round of 16 match against Barcelona’s capital. The person had been waiting – already – for the fireworks show outside the building to trigger the alarm at around 05:00. He had been reminded of the law.
