Atlas Lion Cubs U17 inaugurate their participation in the North African Football Union (UNAF) tournament by facing their Algerian counterparts in Algiers today.
The national selection of natives from 2007 and 2008 faces, this Thursday, April 18 at the Rouïba stadium in the Wilaya of Algiers (6 p.m.), its Algerian counterpart on behalf of the first day of the UNAF tournament, organized for April 26 in Algiers.
The coach of the national eleven, Michael Lebaillif, called twenty-four players to compete in this five-day competition planned in the form of a mini-championship with the participation of five selections: Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Libya and Tunisia.
After taking part in the competition today, the Lion Cubs of the Atlas will challenge Tunisia two days later, then Libya on April 22. On the final day, scheduled for April 24, they will face Egypt.
