Lexus presents Time installation at Milan Design Week

Japanese luxury car manufacturer Lexus unveils its “Time” unit at the exhibition Milan Design Week. This exhibition features works inspired by the LF-ZC concept model, offering two futuristic experiences created by designers Hideki Yoshimoto/Tangent and Marjan van Aubel.

Dialogue between people, technology and time. On the occasion of Milan Design Weekone of the world’s largest design events, luxury car manufacturer. Lexus made public Monday, April 15 his installation called “Time.”

Located at Art Point and Art Garden at Superstudio Piùin Milan’s Tortona design district, this fascinating exhibition is open to the public until April 21, 2024.

Time allocates software that can anticipate user needs and constantly adapt to each individual. While driving this vision toward carbon neutrality, Lexus is also exploring how energy and software can drive mobility innovation.

“Since its inception, Lexus has continued to challenge the conventions of automotive luxury,” explain Simon HumphreysDirector of Branding. “The theme of the installation “Time” comes from our belief that experience and time are inseparable concepts. Time is not something that simply passes, it is the starting point of all special experiences. Lexus is committed to a people-centered philosophy, and we believe that providing people with unique experiences in an era where technology allows cars to envision and evolve with the customer begins with exploring the relationship between people and time itself.

The installation features the work of two designers inspired by the conceptual model. LF-ZCwhich explore the possibilities of the next generation of battery electric vehicles.
