From October 2024, Rennes airport will resume flights to Marrakech

The direct connection between Rennes and Marrakech, launched last year, will be offered again from Sunday, October 27, 2024. The company Transavia, a subsidiary of Air France, will serve the destination twice a week, with one flight every Thursday and every Sunday. Bookings are now open, with prices starting from €43 including tax one way.

The Moroccan community

This direct line to Marrakech was eagerly awaited as it facilitates travel for the Moroccan community, the second largest community of foreign origin in Brittany. The renewal of this line from the Brittany capital also makes it possible to develop tourist and cultural exchanges between Brittany and Morocco.

Following the announcement of the opening of the line to Dublin, the resumption of flights to Frankfurt at the end of April and the continued increase in the number of flights to London, Marrakech completes the range of direct international destinations with departure Rennes.

“Internationalization of traffic” in Rennes

“This resumption confirms the growing internationalization of traffic at Rennes airport since last year, to better connect Brittany with the whole world”says airport director Chivoine Rem, who recalls that many destinations can also be reached via the Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Amsterdam and Frankfurt hubs.
