Red Dot Design Awards 2024: Widex awarded three times

Six years after winning the Red Dot Awards in 2018, Danish hearing aid manufacturer Widex has won three awards in 2024. First, its new Widex SmartRic stood out in the Health and Medical Equipment categories. The hearing aid was awarded for its L-shaped design, which places the microphones at an angle of 12°, compared to the usual 37° angle. According to the brand, this improves speech understanding in noise (+12.5% ​​intelligibility).

Then the 5-in-1 multifunctional accessory Widex Sound Assist was awarded in the Health category for “its attractive and discreet design allows patients to understand the situation in any situation.”
