Omar Moro, President of Tangier Tetouan Al Hoceima Region, participated in the 18th edition of the International Automobile Exhibition taking place from April 25 to 27, 2024 in Beijing, known as Auto China 2024.

Over the years, Auto China has attracted significant attention and active participation from both domestic and international automakers, parts suppliers and various sectors of society, it said.

Under the theme ‘Driving to Smart Mobility’, this edition symbolizes the future of intelligent mobility. This edition presents 117 world premieres, including 30 from multinationals, as well as 41 concept cars, and welcomes 278 NEV models to the stage, the press release underlines.

Moro was accompanied by the delegation of the Société d’Amengement Tanger Tech, responsible for the development and operation of the Cité Mohamed VI Tanger Tech. Last March we revealed that an eighth player is preparing its installation in Tangier Tech’s industrial acceleration zone. This is China’s Hunan Zhongke Shinzoom Technology, owned by the Zhongke Electric group and considered one of the three world leaders in the production of lithium battery anodes (LFP).
