Bpifrance and INNOVX agree to develop innovation in Morocco and France – Telquel.ma

LThe collaboration aims to respond to the challenges of industrial decarbonization, energy transition and the strengthening of agricultural value chains. The ceremony took place in the presence of Nadia Fettah Al Alaoui, Minister of Economy and Finance of Morocco, and Bruno Le Maire, Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty of France.

This partnership, in line with the strategic plans of INNOVX and Bpifrance, aims to support projects developed by INNOVX in collaboration with French companies using Bpifrance’s financing, investment and guarantee instruments.

In addition, the collaboration considers the possibility of establishing co-investment mechanisms to strengthen value chains and ecosystems, especially in the areas of innovation and deep tech, as well as agricultural value chains.

By leveraging Bpifrance’s expertise in innovation financing and INNOVX’s know-how in business and ecosystem development, the partnership aims to stimulate the entrepreneurial landscape and promote the development of innovative projects with high growth potential .

For his part, the vice president of agrifood and sustainable solutions at INNOVX, Younes Addou, stated: “This collaboration, with a major player who shares the same ambition and vision, will allow us to accelerate the strengthening of agricultural value chains and meet the challenges of food security and sovereignty on our continent”.

For Olivier Vincent, executive director responsible for exports at Bpifrance, “the signing of this partnership between Bpifrance and INNOVX heralds a new era of cooperation between France and Morocco”. “By focusing on concrete programs related to renewable energy, agri-food and industry, we strengthen the connectivity of our ecosystems for the benefit of our companies”added Isabelle Bébéar, director of international and European affairs at Bpifrance.

The signing of this partnership coincides with the new round of diplomatic warming of relations between Morocco and France, marked by a series of working visits and trips of French politicians and investors to Morocco.
