Ligue 2. Dunkirk – Bordeaux: potential racist insults against a USLD player

During the 34th day of Ligue 2, racist insults were allegedly uttered by a Girondin against a Dunkirk player. The two clubs condemn this action, and the disciplinary committee of the professional football league (LFP) has investigated the matter.

The facts are said to have occurred during the meeting between two Ligue 2 clubs, during the 34^th day: FC Girondins de Bordeaux and USLD. USLD has reported the facts to the relevant authorities, and believes they have full confidence that they “will take all necessary and appropriate measures to respond to this incident.” Meeting on 25 April, the LFP disciplinary committee decided to put the case under investigation.
