This Amazing Photo-to-Video Artificial Intelligence Won’t Be Sold by Microsoft

The artificial intelligence, called VASA-1, takes a simple portrait photo and audio file and transforms it into a video where the face is animated and speaks in hyper-realistic fashion. Microsoft explains that the project will be paused for now because the company is not confident that the technology will be used “responsibly.”
