“Rawafid”: A captivating evening of music exploring Morocco’s sonic treasures

The University of Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P), to the Maou’rout Center for the patrimoine culture, partenariat with the Royaume du Maroc Academy, organizes the musical “Rawafid”, to bring together the richest culture and musical The Kingdom of Morocco.

The “Rawafid” concert presents a variety of Moroccan musical genres, ranging from Andalusian tarab to malhoun, including Hassani and Amazigh music, reflecting the Kingdom’s diverse musical heritage. The orchestra, composed of 24 musicians, will present a rich musical score that demonstrates the unique fusion of cultural influences that characterize Moroccan music.
