Vaucluse: the bullfighting season is launched in Pernes-les-Fontaines

The very good results and the increased attendance last year recalled – 400 to 500 spectators for each of the races and more than 1000 for the bodega – the co-presidents of the Bullfighting Club of Pernes, Lou Touréou Pernen, presented the program for the Bullfighting season 2024 at the Espace Saint-Gilles .

Didier Rimbert and Fabrice Gay announced that the festivities will begin on Saturday, April 27, at 11.00, with abrivado under the Notre-Dame gate with the bulls from the Grimaud herd. Then, at 4pm, the public will attend the Camargue race and count for the Series 1 Golden Trident trophy, featuring the Saint-Antoine, Rhône and Allard herds (adults €10 and under 12s €5).

The next meeting will take place on Saturday 8 June at 4:30 p.m. There will be Camargue Paca league races where the Saint-Antoine, Mogador and Richebois flocks will participate. As well as trainee shaves (adults €10 and €5 for children under 12).

The second series of the Camargue race for the Golden Trident trophy will take place on Sunday 9 June at 4:30 p.m. The participating flocks will be defined according to the qualification for the first series (adults €10 and €5 for children under 12 years. years).

Two meets toro swimming pool

Saint-Rémy de Provence and Bouillargues raseteur schools are expected on Friday 5 July, at 20:30, for the Camargue race. The Diderot Langlade and La Galère herds will also be there (adults €7 and under 12s free).

Then it’s time for the toro swimming pool with the Maillet manade, Saturday 6 July at 19 (adults €5 and free for under 12s).

Friday 26 July at 20.30 meet for the Camargue race with the racing school of Saint-Rémy and Sommières and the Rhône and Gillet maneds (adults €7 and free for under 12s).

For fans of bullfighting and bull games, remember the date Saturday 17 August at 18.30. The Agu flock will participate (free). On the same day, at 8.30pm, JL Music organizes a bodega evening with on-site catering (free).

The following day, Sunday 18 August, at 16:30, the Camargue race, the Fontaines and the Paul-Jean trophies will be on the program for the Cavellini, Diderot Langlade and Chauvet flocks (adults €10 and under 12s €5).

Next, Tuesday, August 20, at 4 p.m., the great Capelado; at 16:30, the 15th Fontaines trophy and the 28th Paul-Jean trophy with the teams Pantaï, Fanfonne Guillerme and Ribaud Tiberio. Prize giving on the track after the race (adults €10 and €5 for under 12s).

Please note that the Lou Touréou Pernen club will also be organizing, for the heritage festival on Saturday 21 September, Lou carri and flat race.
