toThe famous rock player will perform at the Casablanca Theater on Saturday, June 8, during a concert in which strong rock music will mix with rhythm and blues, soul and gospel that characterized his brilliant career, organizers announced in a press release.
One of the most emblematic voices in Italian song, Zucchero marked the 1980s and 1990s with international hits such as “Senza una donna” and “Baila Morena”.
Identifiable by his eternal hat, raspy voice and rock style mixed with African-American and cross-Alpine influences, Zucchero embodies Italian rock better than anyone else.
With over forty years of a career and 60 million records sold, he has transcended boundaries to become one of the brightest non-English speaking representatives of modern blues music, as evidenced by his collaborations with icons such as Sting, Ray Charles, Joe Cocker and Eric. Clapton and Miles Davis.
As part of his world tour titled “Love Overdose,” Zucchero will stop for the first time in Morocco, making his presence at Gasablanca a real event.
