Marmand: When disciples work on great things, cancer arises

A strange blue pyramid is currently located in the lobby of Marmande Hospital, attached to a bicycle. There is a wonderful exhibition nearbyeducation carried out, at first glance, by students.

Here is the latest project led by history, geography and French teacher at the Marmande apprenticeship center Delphine Thierry, this time in partnership with the Marmande hospital, dedicated to raising awareness of cancer.

CFA Bac-Pro students put together an exhibition about their activities and studies, just to show everything SKILLS that they may have, and created a blue tree by recycling test kits colorectal cancer (expired kits). At the top of this pyramid is the logo “Stop Cancer” lights up when pedaling on an attached bicycle: everything has been learned!

Students advance their skills and raise awareness about cancer screening

“We installed this pyramid of hope on Monday, April 22,” says Delphine Thierry. This is a continuation of the project in which we installed a large Christmas tree from bottles plastic Center E. Leclerc in Marmande, in December 2023. Here, students also got creative, demonstrating the extent of their talent and raising environmental awareness among clients.

At the beginning of 2024 this is the topic cancer that they decided to help, those who were already mobilized, together with the leadership team, in particular during the “Pink October”. “We wanted to work to promote the activities of the CFA in combination with great national cause. The goal was to recycle the waste while raising awareness of the problem.” Moreover, with the idea of ​​presenting her wonderful exhibition in an unusual place.

Obviously, all of this has appealed to Marmande Hospital, which here combines education, public health and cancer screening awareness.

The initiative should be maintained for a few more days and should remain in the hospital center lobby for about two weeks.
