Argentine superstar Lionel Messi scored another double on Saturday, April 27, to help Inter Miami topple the New England Revolution (1-4) on Saturday in Foxborough (Massachusetts, USA).

We can’t stop Leo Messi anymore! Already the author of a double last week against Nashville, the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner, top scorer in the league, has nine goals in seven games this season in Inter Miami’s colors.

Involved in two other goals

More than 65,000 spectators gathered at Gillette Stadium, shared by the revolution with the NFL series of the New England Patriots, to witness the Argentine’s demonstration during the victory of the Florida series (1-4).

Messi first scored the equalizer in the 32nd minute before allowing Miami to take the lead in the 68th minute, served up by fellow FC Barcelona alumnus Sergio Busquets. The Argentine was also involved in the team’s next two goals.

In the table, Inter Miami remains at the top of the Eastern Conference ahead of Cincinnati and New York RedBull.
