Pierre Koenders, Caitranada and the Lost Group were among the winners of the Gala Dynastie cultural evening held on Saturday evening at the Théâtre Maisonneuve.
The evening’s host, Garrihana Jean-Louis, won the Comedian of the Year award.
For the music video for their song Unhygienic and safeLost took home the award for Music Video of the Year.
In the music categories, winners Pierre Koenders (World Music), Planet Giza (English), Lost (French) and Caitranada (International Outstanding Artist) also appeared at the ceremony.
Singer Tabby Yusha has been crowned ‘Visionary of the Year’. The artist who combines R&B and Electropop will visit the Santa Teresa Festival and the Quebec Summer Festival.

In the other six categories presented, Kharolle Anne Sauvrant (author), Axel Ebony
Munizero (Dance Personality), Laura Kamugisha (Filmmaker/Director), Florence Blaine Mbaye (Actress – Cinema/TV), Marilyn Cherry (Comedian of the Year – Theater) and Manuel Mateo (Visual Arts Artist) were all winners of the ceremony.
Culinary content creator and entrepreneur Emilie Lafortune won the People’s Choice Award. His page Taste it
who shares his latest culinary creations, has more than 1 million followers on Instagram.
Honorary awards were also distributed during the evening. Thus the Dynasty Grand Prix was awarded to jazz legend Oliver Jones.
