Evan Cowley leaves the Dukes of Angers in the Magnus League

The Dukes of Angers announced on Monday the departure of their goalkeeper, American-Canadian Evan Cowley (28). He had been at the club for three years, having spent time in Poland, Denmark and Slovenia.

This season, Cowley finished second in the Magnus League regular season in average goals conceded per game (2.33) and fourth in save percentage (91.67). Its future destination is not yet known, nor is its successor.

Last Friday, the Dukes, second in the regular season this year before being surprised in the quarter-finals by Cergy-Pontoise (4 wins to two), had recruited the Finnish defender Jere Rouhiainen (28 years old), who had played for three seasons in Grenoble. With the Brûleurs de Loups, he was especially champion in France in 2022.
