In Quimper, the Beekeeping Center, in partnership with the APE of the Yves-Le Manschek school, is organizing the event “Garage Sale, Empty Your Hive” on Sunday, May 5, from 9:00 to 18:00, in the Black Earth region. . It will extend over Rue Sergeant-Le Flahaut, Rue Yves-Le Manchec and part of Avenue de Sol.
The goal is not profitable, since entry will be free, and exhibitors will have to pay for space by donating an item in good condition (book, kitchen equipment, toy, etc.). “These objects will be redistributed to the resource center Treuzkemm, Secours populaire, the family association Quimper-Cornouaille or Objethèque,” explains Marianne Viau, student at the Beekeeping Center and event coordinator for the research project that needs to be carried out to obtain the social animation BPjeps.
The organizers offer one hundred and twenty areas of 2.50 m each. Food stands (sandwiches, pancakes, sweets, cotton candy) and a buffet bar will be maintained by the parents of students of the Yves-Les Manchek school.
