Rabat – The General Secretariat of Government is participating in the 29th session of the International Publishing and Book Fair, which will be held in Rabat from May 9 to 19, with a pavilion under the slogan “A renewed legal arsenal: the pillar of effective public policies.”
Through its participation in this cultural event, the Salvation Government aims to create a framework for thinking and exchanging visions on current legal issues resulting from the continuous development of the national legislative system, in response, on the one hand, to the requirements of the state’s general policies. On the other hand, a statement by the Salvation Government indicated that the state, at the economic and social levels, is within the framework of aligning the national legislative and regulatory arsenal with Morocco’s international obligations.
SIEL will also be an opportunity to open up national skills, experts and researchers, with the aim of contributing to the debate on current legal issues, in particular law and digitalization, modernization of the national legal system, as well. The ethics of using artificial intelligence and the necessity of regulating it, the same source specifies.
In addition to contributing to enriching the debate on a certain number of issues related to improving the quality of the legal system, by organizing thematic conferences and workshops, the SGG Pavilion will be dedicated to presenting the latest publications in the legal field to enhance access to legal information.
The pavilion will also serve as a space for interaction with visitors to the exhibition from different social groups, the press release adds, noting that SGG will ensure that visitors are provided with the necessary means of accessibility and mediation for persons with disabilities and disadvantaged situations and provide sign language interpretation for all its activities.
