Event in Esch-Belval: LOA remains a hit even in the rain

Ten low degrees and continuous rain! The third edition of the Luxembourg Open Air Festival in Esch-Belval was packed this Saturday evening, despite autumn temperatures and rainfall that could have chilled the coldest frosts. At the foot of the blast furnaces, LOA did not go into detail and the crowd that was present en masse very quickly climbed into the towers thanks to the quality sets offered by DJs such as Malaa, Goodboys, Regard or even Cassö and Daire Valentino.

Alexandra, who lives in Algrange in the French Moselle department, told us that she “had a very nice evening, despite the rain.” “We bought the tickets and there was no turning back. And we were right. Having a beautiful hairstyle in the shower is a waste of effort. You might as well forget about sunglasses. On the other hand, a poncho or rain jacket was essential. Even if it’s not very dry inside us anymore. I’ll go get a down jacket! We came for the first time, and it’s great.”

Flavio, originally from Romania but a resident of the Grand Duke, would not have missed this evening for anything in the world. “I’m still very motivated because it’s always nice to go out for a little walk with friends, even in the rain. This is my third time coming. And this time I realize that my little jacket is useless in the rain. My cap is wet, and my colleagues and I are having a blast.

For Vicky from Ousseldange the evening was a great success. “It’s so good, even if it rains,” she admits, “you have to deal with the rain, it’s very bad. I’m covered with a little plastic to keep out the rain, and the glitter stays on my face, so it’s fine. I came for the first time and both evenings. It’s nice to see that Luxembourg can organize such electronic evenings on the very beautiful Esch-Belval site.
