Gapençais, world rally champion, was made a Knight of the Legion of Honor

Sébastien Ogier was made a Knight of the Legion of Honor by the President of the Republic at the Élysée this Friday.

Eight-time WRC Rally World Champion and now Knight. At the age of forty, Sébastien Ogier was awarded the Legion of Honor by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée on Friday 3 May.

A moment apart, and a meeting with the president that will remain etched in my memory. It’s also a moment that allows us to look in the rearview mirror and it’s an opportunity for me to thank all those who have supported my career,” commented the obviously highly respected high alpine pilot on his social networks.

Before him, other renowned racing drivers had received this prestigious award such as Sébastien Loeb, Jean Alesi and Alain Prost.
