Three questions

On Thursday, authorities in the Baja California region indicated that three Mexicans were being questioned in connection with these disappearances.

“A white pickup was found along with other evidence”the Attorney General said in a press release, specifying that the investigation was being carried out in coordination with the US and Australian authorities.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese described these disappearances as “very worrying”.

Baja California, known for its beaches, is also one of the most violent states in Mexico due to the presence of criminal groups.

In November 2015, two Australian surfers, Dean Lucas and Adam Coleman, were killed in the state of Sinaloa, in northwestern Mexico.
