The IME organizes the 2nd “business forum”

The Moroccan Business Authority (IME) will organize the second edition of the “Business Forum” on May 17 and 18, 2024 in Casablanca with Spain and Portugal as honorary host countries.

After the success of the first edition, held in Tangier in 2023, the IME is preparing the second edition of this International Forum, with Spain and Portugal as guests of honor. This edition has the theme “SMEs, lever for economic development in the Moroccan-Iberian space”, and will be organized in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the Casablanca-Settat region, as well as that of the Portuguese services in Morocco , among other national and international organizations. It is under the official auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and sponsored by Maroc Force Emploi.

The “Business Forum 2024” will have an exhibition dedicated to small and medium-sized businesses in which Moroccan, Spanish and Portuguese companies will participate, representing the three economic sectors of these countries.

The exhibition will remain open to visitors for the entire duration of the event. Bilateral meetings are also planned between companies and organizations participating in the Forum. They will encourage economic partnerships and trade between Morocco and the Iberian Peninsula.

In addition, four thematic seminars will take place on the topics of Investment Climate, Sports Economy, Innovation and Green and Circular Economy. Government officials, experts and representatives of private companies will participate, which will create spaces for sharing experiences and acquiring more investment opportunities in Morocco, Spain and Portugal.

This major event will see the participation of 500 companies from Morocco, Spain and Portugal in seminars and bilateral meetings. 3,000 visitors are expected at this event.
